Mea Motu is a symbol of resilience, courage, and triumph in the boxing ring. She has made history as the IBO World Super Bantamweight Champion with an impressive record of 18-0, including 6 KOs. Starting her boxing journey at 13 in Pukepoto, Te Tai Tokerau, Mea became the world champion in 2023, at 33, while being a proud mother of five.

Her rise hasn't been easy; as a domestic abuse survivor, she fought for her life both inside and outside the ring. Boxing and her gym played a crucial role in her survival. Now, as an "I am hope" ambassador, Mea advocates for mental health and inspires others with her powerful story of courage and hope.
