te ao HĀKINAKINA
SPORTS, CULTURE & POLITICS

Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking event where sport, culture, and politics converge.

Te Ao Hākinkina will celebrate the incredible contributions of Māori athletes, who have shaped New Zealand's proud sporting legacy. Our nine distinguished kaikōrero will share their personal journeys, reflecting on how their Māoritanga has influenced their sporting careers and the unique challenges they face balancing the demands of elite competition with their cultural identity.

In a time when sport continues to unite us, this event delves into the power of sport as a platform for cultural expression and political dialogue.
