Nine powerful Māori voices come together for a very special evening, presenting nine very different stories chosen to inspire, empower and entertain.
A ground-breaking hybrid of 'Ted Talks', a theatre show and a ‘micro’ conference, and designed to be accessible to all Aotearoa, M9 presents nine unique Māori voices to celebrate of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori through Whakaaturanga, Whakaari, Whakawhiti Kōrero - Presentation Performance , Conversation.
To celebrate Te Wiki o te reo Māori we are excited to present Whiua ki te ao! - Cast the Māori language to the world! Join us as 9 kaikōrero explore how te reo Māori is the ultimate vehicle of cultural expression and identity.

You'll find the Aotea Centre on Aotea Square, Queen Street. The Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre is inside the main building. The Herald Theatre is to the right of the Centre - you can walk around the side from Aotea Square or take Mayoral Drive.
